Bhajan bina sukha, shanthi nahin..!
'Divinity encompasses everything from within and without'.
Every Thursday, some of the inmates of EIT Quarters are regularly participating in Bhajans organised by Mr. Vijayakumar, Faculty of Chemistry, EIT. This restores solace and tranquility to the temple-deprived Indian expatriate souls in us! It lasts for an hour or so. Seen in the picture are: Mr. Moorthy (Karnataka), Mr. B.K. Singh (Bihar), myself (Tamilnadu!) and Mr. Vijayakumar (Andhra), from left to right. Other regular participants not seen in the picture are Mr. Mohan and Smt. Swathi. Thanks to Vijayakumar Sir and Moorthy Sir, now I have the practice of singing a repertoire of bhajan songs (more than 15!).
At least during the bhajan hours we have a chance to praise the Lord and be in His Holy Rememberance.
Bhajan bina sukha, shanthi nahin; Hari, Bhajan bina sukha...
